What’s the story?
My name's Nick and ever since I can remember, I've loved film and television. The history of it, the magic, the emotive quality a really good story can have on someone. It's all good stuff. I was coming up in the twilight years of VHS, experiencing the last hurrah of analogue home media.
But then DVD hit the scene. It blew my mind. The disc is read by a laser? They're easier to store? The quality is way better? Hell yes! Sign me up. And that's how my love for DVD started. Since then, I've tried to emulate the energy of that scene in Toy Story 2 when Woody is cleaned by the repairman, saving as many dvds as I can.
What started as a single small shelf evolved into over 50,000 titles, spanning every possible genre you can think of. From blockbusters to indies, classics to modern titles, our goal at Nick's DVDs is to provide a way for you to own your media without breaking the bank. All your favourite artists, bands and performers in one place. CD’s are an incredible technology that have been overlooked and forgotten in recent memory. Let’s remedy that.

Blu-Ray (3D + 4K Ultra HD)
To infinity and beyond. The current and future technological king. Better picture quality, remastered audio mixes, but trading off the library size. But as they always say; quality over quantity, am I right?

VHS
The Mighty VHS. The best thing to come out in 1976 since the Space Shuttle Enterprise and Rocky. You’ve probably got a stack of home movies, so why not grab some historic gems to add to them?

Laserdisc
The 70’s DVD. But not digital. The picture is analog encoded into the- y’know what? It doesn’t matter. If you’re into Laserdisc, you already know and if you’re not, you probably don’t care. Either way, shiny big discs from the late 20th Century!

Yes, we’ve also stocked books! It’s always good to read every now and then, but don’t worry. We haven’t strayed too far from our roots. A fair amount of our books have film adaptations or are novelisations of films, so you can read further into the story after the credits have rolled!
